While igniting all muscle groups for a full body exercise, Pilates improves posture, strength, stamina, and flexibility. This form of Pilates flows from one strengthening exercise to the next in gentle motions that utilize breath work to optimize results and calm the mind. Mat Pilates can be modified for any age, fitness level, and body type. Bringing your own yoga mat is encouraged, and you must have a mat to participate. Mats can be rented at Stride Sea Isle for $3 per visit. This class should be taken barefoot or with grippy socks, sold separately at the studio if you wish to purchase a pair.
